The Restaurant Industry Ignited Rapid Evolution of Delivery Services; Nash to Open Options for RMDA’s National Footprint of Delivery Service Providers
February 28, 2022 – AUSTIN, TX - - Restaurant Marketing and Delivery Association (RMDA) announced today that Nash has joined its Presidents Club. The two organizations will work closely together to open new growth areas for the RMDA’s members within and beyond the food industry.
Nash will integrate the RMDA into its network, providing 550+ RMDA members new delivery opportunities. “2022 is gearing up to be a transformational year for the delivery of everything,” stated Nash’s CEO, Mahmoud Ghulman. “To succeed, companies need to streamline delivery operations while expanding their delivery network. We are thrilled to partner with the RMDA and open up its expansive ecosystem to companies looking to connect with local providers.”
Nash makes it easy for businesses to offer same-day delivery by building business workflows on top of delivery APIs. This enables virtually any business across any industry to provide an exceptional delivery experience to their customers without operating their own fleet, including restaurants, pharmacies, marketplaces, florists, and retail shops.
Delivery services are in such demand that aggregated fees far exceed what is sustainable for both businesses and consumers. “Given razor-thin profit margins in the restaurant industry, these fees can wipe out a restaurant's profits or put them in the red,” stated Andrew Simmons, president of The RMDA. “This is a factor other industries now also have to consider, and we are working together with Nash to provide value-added delivery services to benefit everyone involved.”
RMDA is hosting its national event in Nashville, TN April 25 – 27 and will bring together partners like Sauce, VROMO, Otter, Checkr and its 500+ members from across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the UK, who represent a staggering $500M+ in revenue, to continue the evolution of the delivery world.
